Is it possible to heal early childhood trauma? Most of us have experienced traumas in our life, many of us have gone through severely traumatizing experiences in our early lives, such as: ongoing neglect, physical, emotional, psychological or sexual abuse. Those so called developmental traumas can influence our lives continuously in many ways: nightmares, flashbacks, emotional and physical symptoms, addiction, depression, inability to relate in a fulfilling way, and others. But – as my teacher Peter Levine says: Trauma is a fact of life, but it does not have to be a life sentence. We can heal from early childhood trauma. In this podcast I will share about my life and work and why I think that childhood trauma can be healed and what we need to do in order to heal.
